It Starts with Dad is dedicated to helping people learn and teach others about the Bible, theology, and Christian living. Whether you are a new Christian, someone who has walked with the Lord for decades, or a non-believer who is interested in learning more about why people follow Jesus, there is content here for you. Special attention is also given to fathers who are seeking to raise a generation of children that love God with all their heart, soul, and strength, and who will teach their kids to do the same. How to use this site

“Equip” — that’s the one word I would use to describe the purpose of this site. The content is designed to not only help you learn but to also equip you to teach others. You will find teaching lessons and tips, student handouts, learning activities, videos, and more. I also offer discussion questions that you can use in small groups and/or to help you think more deeply about a topic. The examples that I provide are just suggestions and ways to help you create your own illustrations. Adapt them to fit your own style and your audience.
