In this video, you’ll learn how we got the Old Testament (OT) and why we can trust that it is indeed the inspired Word of God.

We’ll review internal evidence (what Scripture says about itself) and external evidence (historical sources outside of the Bible). We’ll also address the following questions:

  • What was Jesus’ position on the OT books that we have today?
  • How did we get the OT? Can we trust it?
  • Who decided which books would be included in the OT and which would not?
  • What about the Apocrypha/deuterocanonical books?
  • Can other books be included in the OT?
