Why do the Catholic and Greek Orthodox Bibles contain more books than the Protestant Bible? What is the Apocrypha (a.k.a. deuterocanonical books)? Why do Protestants reject those books as Scripture?

In this lesson, you will learn why Protestants do not consider the Apocryphal books as part of the biblical canon. Contrary to popular belief, Protestants did not remove any books from the Bible. Rather, Catholics added books to their canon hundreds of years after the death of Jesus Christ.

This is lesson 1, part 5 (of 5) of my introductory class on hermeneutics/bible interpretation. Click here for more details about the course. You can also find all 5 parts of lesson 1 here.
